H17 Floppy Power/Fan Distribution Board
I re-powered my H17-3 case with a switching +5/+12v power supply. This board mounts in the space where the power transformer was located, and neatly distributes power to up to four drive devices. There's also a power connection for a +12v fan that takes the place of the OEM 120VAC fan. The fan can be powered from either the H17 supply (fixed +12v), or the H8 supply (which is switched between +9v and +12v based on case temperature). The fan tachometer lead is routed back to the H8 for monitoring. Molex KK396 connectors are used for all power connections.
